Final Main pages added

Added the final main pages to the site
watchpocket information
redtab info
hidden rivet info.

The basic info for the page now has been added. At least it is somewhat functional as a guide for buying and selling vintage Levis. I plan to get creative with this page and the information that leads from it, as well as probably put a link to my own eBay account, as I am soon going to auction about 150 pairs of Vintage Levi's from my collection. I have them sorted, and will start selling them soon. I am only going to keep about 50-100 pairs for my collection as they are taking up way too much space in my closet. Now if I could only stop buying them on eBay - dammit I am addicted :) I started with the idea of buying and selling to compliment my collection - problem is, I have not sold any yet, and inventory is backing up - I have piles about 3 feet high completely covering the floor of a 4X6 Closet, not to mention the ones that are hung up. Stay tuned to www.levisguide.com and this blog for when I am going to start the auctioning.
If there is something in particular you are looking to buy in Vintage Levi's leave a comment or email and I can check my collection

Hi there. We have listed a pair of early 40's? or maybe late 30's? Levis 501 buttonfly jeans on ebay that is ending tomorrow morning, Sunday A.M. Your site was very helpful in tracking down information about the jeans. I found them with WWII uniforms in an attic I was cleaning out. If interested in looking at the auction it is under the seller visual*concepts. Thanks for all the great information.

i'm confused if the jeans i have are vintage. the rivet description dates them after 1992, but the jeans have the big E red tag. also lemon yellow thread for belt loops and hem. no patch on jeans. what else can i look for to help determine date? thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Hi there , Is the site I've been looking for ? I have a couple of very old lEvis jackets , One from the Early 50's in great shape , And one from I think the 1800's or early 1900's , I dont know , How do you tell ? It has One pocket on the front and a Belt on the back . These Jackets were worn by a rancher in Reno Nv ,And he wore the first one Till it was ragged , Then he got a new one , I assume in the 50's by what little I've gathered on how to tell the age , and wore it and had it till he died , Some say he was over 100 years old . Well they threw all this stuff in the dumpster , and and I saw it along with a very old baseball mitt , and other goodies . But back to the jackets , any info available on the value and how to reach the good customers , ebay or ?would be greatly appreciated ,and on the mitt too , Thanks Rob .

Hi, I have a question about women's levi's. I purchased a pair from a thrift store that has what looks like silk floral attached to the bottom of the pat legs. The tag in side says made in usa and the stitching appears to be the white ears you mentioned. Any idea what years this might be? I'm thinking 80's they are 501
